Meet The Artist

My name is Rachael Osiel and I am the solo creator behind Crystal Clarity Creations. 

I am an outdoors lover, who grew up in the city. I currently live in Phoenix, Arizona but I am originally from the Chicago area. Ever since graduating high school, I have been a bit of a nomad. I have spent time and visited 42 states and have lived in at least 6 all by the age of 23. No matter where I have lived or what I am doing, making art has always been a big part of my life. When I'm not making something, I'm usually doing something outside: hiking, camping, rock climbing, highlining/slacklining, roller-skating or maybe traveling to a different country for weeks at a time. A lot of my art is inspired by my adventures! 

I picked up wire wrapping in 2016, after seeing people wear them at music festivals. I have always had a love for rocks and crystals ever since I was a little girl, so I was very intrigued by this craft. I am self taught and have learned pretty much everything I know through trial and error and putting in hours of practice over the years. 

I have dabbled in many different art forms such as macrame, painting, dream catcher weaving, sewing, clay sculpting, flow arts, and even wood burning. I feel that it is my purpose to create. Nothing brings me more joy than when I finish something I have been hyper focusing on for days on end. My style and inspiration come from the world around me. All of the places I have been and all of the people I meet, forever inspire me. I am always growing and learning and never box myself in with one style or form of expression. My art demonstrates that. I am dedicated to growing on this journey and pushing new limits!
